What color is your world?
Is your perception all swirled?

When angry we see red,
our brain in its bone bed,
is just protecting us from pain in our past.
Red is easier than blue,
feeling shit- we don’t wanna do,
quick look away somewhere else- do it fast.
Maybe go outside into green,
there are colors you haven’t seen,
the window panes of perception can easily break.
But listen carefully M’Dear,
if you stay in bed from fear,
you’ll get mental bedsores for fucking fucks sake.
But what if you look behind,
the window panes of mind?
What sees- who’s the knower that knows?
Colors and labels and such,
don’t amount to much,
you can’t know truth through color- that’s how it goes.
A color is only a thing,
if some light to it you bring,
don’t fixate- the light of awareness is you!
Just sink back into the source,
it’s always been you of course,
from a wakeful stillness you can finally enjoy the view.
