within is what’s true.
Just let it all go,
that’s all that you do.
There’s a crack in our mind,
perhaps we’ll go mad.
Transcend false happiness,
and all that is sad.
There’s a crack in our heart,
but don’t pick a side.
Dive into the middle,
the halves will collide.
There’s a crack in the cosmos,
emptiness is awake.
It gives and it gives,
and we take and we take.
There’s a crack in consciousness,
ask “who am I?”
Thoughts are just clouds,
you are the sky.
There’s a crack on this beach,
between water and land.
Time is the river,
matter is sand.
There’s a crack in our memory,
and with any luck,
we’ll remember to forget,
in the past we’ll get stuck.

it implies there’s a lack.

it reveals right now.
