It can’t always be fucking rainbows,
sometimes you’re in the shit.
The tide comes in, the tide goes out,
flow with it- every damn bit.
You can’t always catch a fucking bird,
and some days there is no sun.
The waves they pound, the world spins round’,
your cycles you cannot outrun.
There’s not always a scenic fucking backdrop,
it depends on what’s behind your eyes.
Pollution, trash, greed & cash,
all those are you in disguise.
You can’t always find a fucking bridge,
you can’t always act upon whim.
But yeah- you bet, you can always get wet,
if you learn how to fucking swim.
You can’t always take a fucking picture,
thoughts are photo’s of the mind.
Put down camera & care and see what is there,
you might be surprised what you find.
You can’t always find fucking words,
to express what you feel inside.
Fuck words & birds and the cities floating turds,
let it all go- your life is a ride.
You don’t have to always fucking rush,
exist outside of time in the now.
It’s a concept you know- only NOW is there flow,
let go of everything else- that’s how.
It can’t always be birds and rainbows,
but fuck it, sometimes it can!
